Quality for us means a product that has the dimensions, appearance and function stated for it, every time, and accurate information about it.
Our approach to quality
The packaging we make protects and carries products that come into direct contact with the user's health, such as food supplements, medicines and cosmetics. A “good” package is therefore measured not only by its looks but by consistent dimensions, a tight closure, compartments that close correctly and a raw material suited to the product's use. Our quality work is built on these four points.
Raw material
A raw material suited to its use is selected for each product, and the raw material and plastic code are stated in the product catalogue. For products that will touch food or food supplements, the suitability of the raw material for that use is assessed together with the raw material supplier's documents. Features such as food-contact suitability, being BPA-free or being recyclable are shown separately in the feature list of the product page concerned and apply only to that product.
In-process checks
During production, part dimensions, weights and appearance are checked at set intervals. Parts that fit together, such as lid and body, are checked for fit and closing; products claimed to be leak-proof are tested for closure tightness. Non-conforming parts are separated and the cause is eliminated together with the production team.
Packing and traceability
Products are packed so that they are neither deformed nor soiled in transit. Each dispatched carton can be traced to its product and production run, so the relevant production record can be found when feedback arrives.
Accurate product information
Volume, dimension, raw material and feature data in our catalogue is entered from production data. Only information confirmed by our company is published; unverified certificate or performance claims are not. If you need a technical document, test report or declaration of conformity for a product, write to the “Quality and documents” department through the contact form, stating the product code.
Feedback and complaints
Every piece of feedback about our products is recorded, reviewed together with the related production and dispatch data, and you are informed of the outcome. You can send feedback by phone, e-mail or through the contact form.
