Cookie Policy

Which cookies and browser storage this site uses, why, and for how long.

Last updated: October 22, 2026

1. In short

This Site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. No advertising, marketing, social media tracking or analytics cookies are used, and there is no third-party tracking code on the Site. We therefore do not ask for cookie consent; strictly necessary cookies are based on KVKK Art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f and on the “strictly necessary” exemption of the ePrivacy rules.

2. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. The site reads them on later requests, for example to know that you are signed in or which language you chose. Browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) serves similar purposes and is kept only in your browser.

3. Cookies we use

NamePurposeDurationType
extraplastik_sessionRecognises your session: needed for sign-in, the form security code and showing form errors.120 minutes of inactivityStrictly necessary, first party
XSRF-TOKENPrevents forms from being submitted on your behalf from another site (CSRF attack).120 minutesStrictly necessary, first party
localeRemembers your language (Turkish / English) so the home address opens in the right language.1 yearStrictly necessary (functional), first party
remember_web_*Set only if you tick “Keep me signed in on this device” when signing in, to recognise you again.Until you sign outStrictly necessary (your choice), first party

None of these cookies is used to track you on other sites or shared with third parties.

4. Browser storage and service worker

  • localStorage – user_locale: stores the language you viewed; contains no personal data.
  • sessionStorage – ep_push_prompt_dismissed: remembers, while the tab stays open, that you dismissed the browser notification suggestion with “Not now”.
  • Service worker (/sw.js): used only if you turn on browser notifications, to display them on your device.

5. External links

The “Open in Google Maps” link on the contact page and the company websites on the references page open in a new tab; no maps or third-party content are embedded in the Site. When you follow such a link, that site's own cookie policy applies.

6. Managing cookies

You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, signing in, sending forms and choosing a language may not work. You can turn off browser notifications in your browser's site settings or on the “Notification Settings” page of the user panel.

For details on how personal data is processed, see our KVKK Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy. Questions: bilgi@extraplastik.com.

7. Changes

If an analytics or marketing cookie is ever added to the Site, it will run only with your explicit consent and this policy will be updated beforehand.
